Asymmetric evolution of the ledger: one hard shoulder, one deep chamfer, and a bottom hem raked the opposite way, with a single slim rust band near the knob doing the heavy branding. Courier slot captions and a rotated route rail keep it typographic — ink stays a few thin lines plus one 22-unit band, and every cut is a straight pass on eggshell stock.

Diagonal symmetry — the top-left and bottom-right corners share the same 44-unit chamfer, echoed by shallow-rake slits and double hairline rules between bays. The whole hanger is cut like an emerald-cut stone: chamfered shoulders at the top, long straight sides, and deep bottom facets converging on a flat culet that holds the brand block. Thin rust facet-echo lines and a tiny rotated-square 'gem' on the datum rule carry the idea in almost no ink — every edge is a single straight blade cut, and the 45-degree corner slits repeat the chamfer angle.

A calm chamfered-top sheet on eggshell stock that ends in a full sawtooth hem — seven identical straight teeth a ruler-and-blade can knock out in one pass. One confident diagonal cut across the top deck and a shallower answering cant at the foot turn a plain rectangle into something architectural — two straight blade cuts, zero extra ink. Microcopy rides the deck angle on a thin rust datum rule, and the whole Pocket Ledge brand block tilts parallel to the bottom edge; classic 45-degree slits keep the card mounts quiet against the two cants.

Each card is gripped by an asymmetric pair — steep near-vertical slits at the top corners, shallow near-horizontal slits at the bottom — and all sixteen cuts are chained into one continuous switchback rail that zigzags down each margin and terminates in the rust datum rule of the brand block, with the steep chamfers and shallow prow-cut bottom echoing the two angles. On eggshell stock the printed ink is just two thin polylines, one rule, and type; every slit is a short straight knife cut and the silhouette is seven straight cuts plus the circle punch.

A whisper-light 45° diamond lattice of rust hairlines covers the card field, so each corner slit reads as one lattice line pulled up to full ink weight exactly where it grips a card, and small rotated-square nodes number every bay between the cards. The lattice is 1-pt lines at 16 percent opacity — nearly no ink on bare white — and the octagonal silhouette is eight straight chamfer cuts plus the 1.5-inch circle punch, with a QR slot pitch in the Pocket Ledge brand block.

A peaked top cut plus a center ridge score (running straight through the knob slit and hole) and one eave score fold the crown into a shallow gable, so the hanger hangs like a little white house in relief over the doorknob. Two straight cuts and two straight scores are the whole trick — no tooling beyond the circle punch — and the sheet stays bare white except a thin rust roof-trim line, the corner slits, and the Pocket Ledge brand block with QR and section diagram.

A bottom flap folds up and tucks its corners into two extra photo-corner slits, doubling the paper into a gently bellied plinth that carries the whole brand block and gives neighbors a stiff, satisfying edge to grab. It costs exactly one extra straight cut and one score, and the same slit language that grips the four cards is what locks the ledge shut — the sheet stays white everywhere else.
